Tea Box instructions

Hey Everyone! I had a lot of interest in the tea box that I made for my friend Pam this last weekend. I am sorry that I did not include my instructions in the first post.. I was really running short on time. But here are the instructions that I put together today for those that are interested. They are very basic, and hand drawn, so please bear with me. OK on to the -

Tea box Instructions-

You will need -

1 piece of cardstock 8 1/2  x 12”

Score l2” side at 3, 5 3/4, 8 3/4, and 11 1/2

Score 8 1/2 side at 3” ( you will also need to score the

Last 2 sections at 4” see picture below)

1 piece of cardstock 4”x 3 5/8”
Score at 1/2 all around

3 Window Frame die cuts
(I chose the 4” size frame)

1 piece of cardstock 3 1/4 x 3 1/4

3 Window Frame die cuts
(I chose the 4 5/8 size frame

For the bottom of the box)

1 piece of cardstock 3 1/2 x 3 1/2

Starting with the 8 ½ x 12” piece score the long side at 3. 5 ¾, 8 ¾, 11 ½. Turn your paper ½ turn and score the 8 ½” side at 3 inches. While your paper is turned score the last 2 sections at 4”. ( this is the section that will dispense your tea)

Cut up to the score line on the 1st and 3rd sections of the box, and the 4” score line on the last 2 sections. Leave tabs on the 1st and 3rd sections.

 Construct the box as shown.

To make the lid, take the 4” x 3 5/8” piece of stock and score it at ½” all the way around. Cut up to the score line to form tabs and adhere tabs with sticky strip or glue dots. This lid will fit inside the box. Adhere all 3 die cut window frames together using tombo multi glue. Let dry. Attach window frame to 3 ¼ x 3 ¼ piece of cardstock. Attach to the lid. Repeat steps using the 4 5/8” size frames and the 3 1/2" x 3 1/2" piece of cardstock. Adhere to the bottom of the box.
Embellish with your choice of DSP and ribbons.

I hope this helps all those out that were interested. Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek!

Heather :)
